Mary Kay recently unveiled the newest addition to its Beauty Fleet of cars at its annual seminar in Dallas. The thousands of Independent Beauty Consultants who met at the event were in for a surprise when the curtain was finally lifted: it’s not pink, and not a Cadillac, but a black Ford Mustang. The excited crowd approved with roaring cheers as the stylish Ford Mustang joined ranks with its iconic sister, the pink Cadillac, as another symbol of great achievement in the Mary Kay sales force. |

The Turkish Direct Selling Association has elected Tayfun Ergün as its new President. Tayfun Ergün currently also functions as Amway Turkey's General Manager. He will hold his new office as President of the DSA for a three-year term. Turkey’s DSA was established in 1994 and has now, nine members. They are Avon, Amway, Dore, Herbalife, LR, Nikken, Nu Skin, Oriflame and Tupperware. |

"Last year, we launched around 450 products. The US-American National Energy Marketers Association (NEM) is pleased to announce a new Code of Conduct for its members that use network marketing as a means of acquiring new customers. NEM’s Network Marketing Code of Conduct includes the following
• Independent representatives of network marketing companies shall not use either telemarketing or door-to-door sales techniques for the purpose of acquiring customers.
• A network marketing company shall ensure its independent representatives have received adequate training and information about the nature of the product and the terms and conditions of its sale as well as all market-specific regulatory compliance requirements.
• Network marketing companies shall establish and maintain a clear channel of accountability for the actions of its agents.
• Any marketing materials utilized by an independent representative of a network marketing company shall be pre-approved by such company.
• A network marketing company shall utilize a verifiable quality control process to ensure the integrity of consumer enrollments. |
